Ada Diamond was founded by a silicon valley husband-wife team. Client sells the highest quality diamond jewelry through a seamless and responsible design and production process. The project scope was to create classical but unique collection for the diamond that represent pure love, pure poetry and pure brilliance.

This engagement ring is designed based on the client's art history background. Yellow sapphire with accent diamond creates a sophisticated look from Renaissance times. The ring arrives with the traditional engagement look yet with details on the side view and gallery area with a scroll pattern.

The engagement ring was inspired by renaissance architecture and repeating patterns. This wedding set combines nature, flowers, and geometric design with highlighted pink sapphire and accent stones. The client also requested to include their heritage pattern with circle and square patterns.

Eyewear is an art object that creates endless possibilities for viewer and wearer alike. Eyewear as an object has been represented in various forms since the 13th century. It has acted as a functional device to correct vision and protect the eyes or as an icon of adornment, social status, and a definitive statement of fashion, trend, and culture. Artists have used eyewear to symbolize a person’s soul in the artwork. Eyewear can dramatically change a person’s appearance, emphasize facial expression, distort physical identity and intentionally manipulate impression as people judge unfamiliar circumstances behind the lenses. On the other hand, eyewear may also be an instrument for revealing the truth.

The title “0” brooches have taken inspiration from Buddhist philosophy- the concept of pure mind as the source of everything.  I am interested in how a rapidly changing mind shapes unlimited imagination.  My intention in making jewelry (brooches) is to create an environment that fosters mind changing.  The interaction of mind changing takes place in this work by conjunction of using numbers, and the limited quality of circles and squares.  When seeing an ordinary object turns into an abstract image, a greater imagination is released in viewers’ minds.

Although jewelry was traditionally meant to be  worn, my jewelry can be displayed by itself or on the body as a portable sculpture.   It is constructed using different elements of objects and forms, and simultaneously establishing extreme tension within a limited space.  Ironically, the tension is reduced by the freedom to place  on the any part of body.  These relationships of tension and placement create a visual rhythm between the objects, body and surrounding background.

I think of jewelry as a process of deconstruction and reconstruction. It helps to form ideas and solve or even provide questions. I am interested in transforming ordinary objects into conceptual subject matter and challenging viewers’ perceptions of objects and forms. I elect to use materials, shapes, and methods that lead viewers to question each meaning. Therefore, jewelry is not only simple ornamentation; it also provides an opportunity to examine the existence and purpose of objects and their context within our world.

Those jewelry are custom-made based on the clients' specific stones, materials, or requirements.

Inspired by the movement and form of sea urchin, those hollowware were made by copper sheet with traditional angle raising techniques. With thousands of hammer strikes on the metals repeatly, the process become a peaceful meditation journal.
